Passports, Visas and TaxesA valid passport is required for entry into Zambia and visa fees are US$50 for all tourists entering the country.Guests should note that the visa fees are subject to change without notice and should be confirmed in advance with their booking agent. Formerly bona fide visitors to the lodge would be issued with a visa waiver letter, which would be presented to the Immigration Authorities at the point of arrival into Zambia to exempt travellers from the visa fees. As of 26th January 2008, with immediate effect, this ruling no longer applies and visitors must pay the above visa fees upon entering the country. The lodge owners and other establishments within the travel sector are lobbying to have this ruling changed as soon as possible and will keep clients informed as to any further developments. International and Domestic airport departure taxes are US$25.00 and US$8.00 each respectively.
