"What more can you ask for! You walk into camp handed a welcome drink and then taken to the dining/bar area where there are a small herd of breeding Elephants just standing there cooling themselves under the nearby tree, the baby of the herd asleep on the ground.
And what a delight it is to wake up in Hippo Pod and just lie in bed looking at the world float past on the great Zambezi with the Hippos roaring in the back ground.
It beats London, Paris, New York and Rome any day of the week." |
Graham Foster British Airways Representative Lusaka International Airport 06/10/06 |

| "We visited Kasaka River Lodge in May 2006. What a wonderful experience! The campsite, set right on the banks of the Zambezi River, is idyllic, the tents are extremely comfortable and the food was delicious and plentiful. Perhaps what made our vacation so memorable was that Kasaka River Lodge staff are so welcoming and attentive to the needs of the guests. We will certainly return." |
Christine and Nigel Weston, New York, USA 10/10/06 |

"On the eve of my 10th trip to Kasaka River Lodge, I thought that it would be appropriate to summarise my feeling for your camp, although the very fact that I have been so many times in only a four-year period is surely the very best endorsement.
I have been all over the world on various holidays and rugby tours and I therefore feel well qualified to be able to say, that for me, Zambia generally and Kasaka River Lodge specifically is my favourite place on earth and, health finances allowing, I fully intend to revisit the lodge on many more occasions in the future.
It is breathtakingly beautiful, combines the utmost friendliness with sheer excitement and is a small corner of the world that really should be enjoyed by everyone before they keel over!" |
